There is no faster way to develop Windows applications than Delphi. Unfortunately, despite Pascal having been literally the first computer language I learned after Basic, I am not a fan of the syntax of the language. C++ Builder offers similar (but not identical) access to the VCL, but subjectively, C++ Builder is treated like a red-headed step-child by Embarcadero, and both are staggeringly expensive (compared to C#).
