The real relationship doesn't even start until about one year after the wedding when the hoopla is gone and you’ve settled in for the long haul with this person that you’re (hopefully) going to be living with for the rest of your life, and yet people are getting upset about him marrying a person of a different ethnicity? In the words of Martin Lawrence, they can have a Coke and a smile…

Relationships can be tough. If you find someone that you can partner with through life and it can last, no matter what ethnicity, jump on it, feed it, and nurture it. Don't let anyone else try to impose their narrow-minded rules on how you should live your life. Heck, if they truly had it figured out, they'd be partnered-up and happy and not giving a flip about other people are doing in the first place.
