"Seems you held back a few verses yourself."
I held nothing back. If you feel that was holding something back, then that's your interpretation. I listed two Bible verses, period.
I also make no assumptions about spiritual vs earthly opponents. Again, your interpretation.
" It’s not difficult to find men with evil intent in either party although, at the moment, the democrats seem to have distanced themselves farther from what I think God desires."
Oooh I love it when so-called Christians claim that one party is more Godly, especially when completely eschewing what Christ actually says, and I'm talking in red. If you don't like what I have to say, fine. Listen to what the Bible has to say.
Isaiah 10:1-4 "Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless"
You tell me which party seems to run amok of the above doctrine more than the other.
Matthew 25:35 "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me."
Again, which party is more at opposed to what Jesus actually says, again, in red. I know you won't answer this, but at least other people reading it can answer it for themselves.
"Don’t use verses to support your agenda either."
My agenda? What agenda would that be? I listed a Biblical scripture. If you disagree with it, then you disagree with the Bible. And even if I did have an agenda, you're suggesting I should just accept whatever partisan, non-Christian claim you make and not challenge it? Sorry, Mama didn't raise no fools.
