Oppenheimer: Dessert for the Mind

If you didn’t know, the movie Oppenheimer was just released to streaming today (on November 21, 2023). Typically I roll out of bed at about 5:00am and start working, but remembering that I’ve been waiting to see this movie since before pre-release, I was very excited to begin watching it. Note that I’m writing this before finishing it, but thus far it’s everything I thought it would be. Every part of this movie covers ground that my mind loves. The science, the conflicted New York jew, the love story, the fascist societal undercurrents, the ethical questions, everything. I almost wish I could take the morning off just to finish the 3 hour movie, but alas, work awaits.
